Ricardo N. Rodilla “Caracolas” del 1 al 30 de Julio pintura

After exhibiting in many galleries of the island, Ricardo N. Rodilla returns with his first retrospective of ´Shells to Vara de Rey.´

He continues having the marine shells as muses of inspiration, but with very special colors and inspired in the Medeterranean.  Mollusks and their bright and colorful shells offer the artist the possibility of experimenting with a wide chromatic range, playing with intense colors, many contrasts and the Ibiza´s light.

Here the author also delights us with the creation of his frameworks providing each of the paintings with a different personality combining innovating materials.

Karin Bröstrom  “Yabisah crepúsculo” del 1 al 30 Agosto  fotografia

The artist manifests that the pictures in the exposition  “Dusk Yabisah” are her love statement to what is not perfect…

...and to the city of Ibiza. They reflect her thoughts regarding beauty and well-being…
The author´s been collecting the photos for more than 20 years spent in Ibiza city and, as she expresses herself, “of course, there´s a lack of perfection in them as well”.
Karin Bröstrom, Swedish origin but with huge love for Ibiza, had already done some expositions in her own country.

Verónica Gerbasi colores y texturas del 1 al 30 septiembre

Verónica Gerbasi’s painting looks for what is authentic; the relation of the Picture with the painter who creates it in the intimate moments of her daily life; Colours, textures and even the topics arrive by themselves; as an encounter between the events and the fact of being able to capture or reflect that unique, pure and unrepeatable feeling in a canvas. She lived in touch with paintings, since ever, breathing it, enriching her senses. There were two events that fostered her toward painting; the first, was to discover Romulo Maccio’s art when she was very young that makes her to feel what she wanted to do and in which way.

The second, a ship “The Buffalo”  which awaken inside her the ability to mix colors with the sea smelling, the quietness with the impulses, the steel whispering, the silent of a night, the light, the wind, and to create intensively and not pause was able to stop watching, and living intensively her creative momentum
